Lawyers become members
of the Divorce Cooperation Institute by invitation only. To become a member, the
lawyer must have exhibited a high degree of ethical and competent family law practice.
The lawyer must also agree to abide by the principles of the Institute and to
participate in legal educational programs designed to teach civility, ethical
behavior, settlement techniques and cooperative behavior.
